A ceramic coating is better than traditional wax & sealants in many ways, one of the biggest ways is the durability and hardness level! Another big benefit to a Ceramic Coating is the time it lasts on your vehicle. The average lifespan of wax applied to cars is anywhere from 3 to 6 months, but when you apply a ceramic coating, it lasts anywhere from 1 year, all the way to 10+ Years depending on the coating, how many layers are applied, when it was applied, and if it is maintained correctly. Another big difference is the strength, While traditional waxes & sealants measure around 2-4H on a hardness scale, a Ceramic Coating can be anywhere between 7-9H. Your clear coat on your vehicle measures around 2-3H.
